Services We Provide
CAP's Lawn Care Inc. provides "Total" lawn care for each of our valued residential, commercial & homeowners association customers. We believe in a year round maintenance plan that will make your property as beautiful as possible.
Aeration:
We use a core plugger, which pulls plugs of earth from your lawn. This allows the roots and soil to spread and increases grass root exposure to oxygen. When performed properly, aeration is an effective way to revitalize a compacted, oxygen-starved lawn. An annual aeration of a lawn will also help breakdown the thatch layer and serve as a substitute for direct topdressing.
Fertilization:
We fertilize based upon the needs of the particular turf type you have. We traditionally use a Weed-n-Feed product early in the growing season and the end of the season.
Winterizing:
We winterize clients' turf by applying a fertilizer that is strong in phosphorus to stimulate early formation and strong growth of the roots. The cool weather will dramatically aid the turf in allowing it to root itself deeper and stronger while boosting growth for the upcoming spring.
Dethatching:
Controlling thatch makes turf less susceptible to disease and stress caused by wear and tear and allows nutrients, such as air and water, into the soil.
Mowing:
No more than 1/3 of the leaf blade should be removed with any mowing. If proper mowing frequency is maintained, clippings do not need to be removed because turf grass leaf clippings contribute very little to thatch buildup. The break down rapidly and recycle nutrients slowly when returned to the turf. As mowing height increases, thatching tendency increases as well. It is best to cycle mowing height from low in the spring to high in the summer and back to low in the fall. This reduces thatching tendency and minimizes environmental stress and week encroachment. Soil Testing:
In conjunction with John Deere Landscapes & CLC Labs, we will test your soil for chemical composition to ensure the right fertilizers and/or amendments are applied to make your lawn as healthy as possible.
Hedge Trimming and Mulch Installation:
We provide hedge trimming, palm tree pruning and mulch installation (pine straw or other material) on an as needed basis for our clients.
Contracts:
We accept 12 month yearly contracts, seasonal yearly contracts or monthly contracts.
Weed Spraying:
Weed spraying on turf and flower beds.
